Juan Antonio is a dynamic multi-hyphenate whose career continues to expand across television, film, fashion, and production. Raised in Chicago and classically trained in New York and London, Juan's international presence and commanding on-screen energy have earned him a reputation as one of Hollywood's most compelling rising talents.
Juan first captured global attention starring opposite Beyoncé in her critically acclaimed "Best Thing I Never Had" music video, a breakout moment that led to notable appearances in Emmy-winning series including Modern Family, Grey's Anatomy, and How to Get Away With Murder. He went on to book powerful recurring and series regular roles on major network and cable series such as Murder in the First (TNT), Hit the Floor (BET), and Empire (FOX), where he played Phillip, opposite Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson.
He currently stars as Dom in BET+'s Sacrifice, appearing as a series regular opposite Paula Patton across multiple seasons. Juan's film credits include the emotionally charged drama Joe Bell (opposite Mark Wahlberg) and the indie noir Gemini (opposite Zoë Kravitz). He's also appeared in back-to-back Super Bowl campaigns for Lexus and Michelob Ultra, as well as national spots for T-Mobile, Tommy Hilfiger, and more.
Behind the camera, Juan is building a distinct visual brand through his production company, developing original films and commercial campaigns for luxury and fashion clients. As a director and writer, his work is marked by sharp cinematic visuals, grounded character arcs, and a modern edge. He's collaborated with Oscar-winning and visionary creatives like Linus Sandgren, Wally Pfister, Antoine Fuqua, and Steven Klein.
Juan holds a Master's in Theatre and studied under the legendary William Esper in NYC and Giles Foreman in London (Drama Centre). His global perspective and artistic depth make him uniquely positioned for high-level collaboration with authors, studios, and streaming platforms alike.
He currently splits time between Los Angeles, Paris, Miami, and London.
